Ironwood Golf Outings & Events

Your Home for Golf...

The staff here at Ironwood is experienced at handling tournaments and golf events of just about every size and nature. Whether you are planning a fundraising golf event for charity, an invitational championship or a golf party that is small or large, we are prepared to handle all the details that go into making your event a huge success.

Success Speaks for Itself...

The first time Dale Robinson played in our Ron Westman Memorial Tournament, a special event for seniors, "there were 35 entrants, we had an enjoyable time. Two years later, if you didn't put your name in early, you couldn't get in -- it was filled to capacity.

"Only a few years after that they started a spring and fall tournament. These days you've got to book a year ahead, or else you're on the waiting list! I think that's an indication of the popularity."

Cathy Ellison at Ellison Travel and Tours...

first chose Ironwood as the site of her company's charity tournament some time ago, and she's glad she did. "We have held a tournament there -- now going into our 13th year.  It's a fundraising event for charity. At this point we've got 36 foursomes, so it's very popular, and there are many repeat golfers. (They're not just locals -- we are a travel agency and our suppliers come from all over, as far as Vancouver.)

"The Ironwood staff is very friendly, and they handle the event well. It's very suitable to corporate business."

Golf fore the Cure
Ladies Scramble 10 am shotgun

         Golf fore the Cure...

....is an event created by the Women's Division of the Royal Canadian Golf Association working together with the Canadian Cancer Society to raise money for breast cancer research as well as support and information programs in our community.

It is about the power of women playing the game of golf to make a difference. It is about supporting the Cancer Society's 'vision' of a future in which no Canadian need fear a diagnosis of breast cancer. It is about caring enough to step up the tee blocks and prove that 'one round CAN make a difference'

We are very pleased to be hosting this event at Ironwood again in 2009. Last year we raised over $5500 for breast cancer research and our goal is to do even better on July 13th! For additonal information or questions, please contact karen@ironwood.net
