Course Details

Ironwood started in 1965 with just nine holes, the original 9 hole architect was Dave Ferguson who had been an assistant to Stanley Thompson at Banff Springs. Years later, John F. Robinson was called in to rework the course and add nine more holes, and we opened the new nine for play in 1990. Robinson has created acclaimed courses all over Canada and the northern U.S., including Mainprize in Sasketchewan, Birch Bay in Washington, the Lakeland course at Hollinger Golf Club in Timmins, Whistle Bear in Cambridge-- utilized the rolling, gently forested hills to scenic and strategic advantage.
